It’s Over- Don Jazzy Confirms Split

The rumour that had recently made the headlines over the face off between the CEO of Mo’ Hit records, Don Jazzy and Dbanj his partner where both artistes had allegedly accused each other of complacency has finally been revealed to the glare of the public as Don Jazzy called it quit in a statement issued on twitter this afternoon saying ” it is the ‘end of a long era’.
Don Jazzy who affirms he has been going through some drastic transformation has also announced that in view of the end of an era and the beginning of a new one, his stay with Mo’Hits will be over.
He assured his fans that the proceeds of his production catalogue from day one till now would be donated to five charity organizations’.
He disclosed thus “Good day friends. So sorry I have been away for long as I have been going through some changes in my life. It is with a heavy heart that I announce the end of a long Era and the beginning of a new one.
Some of the Rumours you have all heard recently are sad but true. - @DONJAZZY
The way forward now is to make sure I keep bringing you guys more of the beautiful music you all love to dance to. To end the old era I will be donating the proceeds of my production catalogue from day 1 till date to 5 charity organizations. Thanks. IDJA’
Meanwhile, no reason has been given by Don Jazzy as to why he called it quit.
However, the existing rumour has it that Don Jazzy was simply tired of Dbanj’s lifestyle which he has considered unbearable and has decided to quit working with him. Well you heard me say rumour ...
Unconfirmed sources said, D’banj had in turns accused Don Jazzy of delaying the release of his coming album with different flimsy excuses, meanwhile he produced Wande Coal within two days.
D’banj had again been accused of making some offensive remarks about some of his colleagues by referring to them as back up singers. "she otitoo ni?"
These, among other things could be why the duo have parted ways in a most uncelebrated and unpopular way. What other fact do we need?

TWEET OF THE DAY: Don Jazzy talk in Parable | ...confirm split with D'Banj?

I love these duo, to me, they blend well in their performances. But, since the rumor of Don Jazzy and D Banj's separation began, I have been following the development with interest even on twitter, I'm following @DONJAZZY.
Can anyone interpret or tell us what Don Jazzy meant in this Parable Tweets? Is he trying to confirm rumoured break up between him and D' Banj?

Wande Coal Prepares To Quit Mo’hits

Considering the recent news making waves about Wande Coal and Mo'Hits, Wande Coal may be the next person to quit Mo’hits. According to what I gathered, Wande Coal is planning to move on with his life under a new record label.
Before now, there have been different reports about the Bumper to Bumper crooner quitting Mo’hits, the label that helped him to stardom.
Wande Coal, I learnt, is also avoiding the press, believing that this is a critical moment for him to grant any interview. He doesn’t want to be involved in the cold war that has already started between Dbanj and Don Jazzy.
It would be recalled that D’Banj and Don Jazzy founded the most successful record label in Nigeria, Mo’hits in 2005 when they returned from their sojourn in the UK.
Within a short period, the label became popular with array of stars like Wande Coal, Dr Sid, D’Prince and K-Switch.
"Change is constant," with this new development, what do you think the future holds for Wande Coal??? Any hope of  releasing next hit track that will make Nigerians go gaga like his previous tracks?...Well, so many questions to ask, my dear readers over to you...I need answers please...

Just few weeks ago, there were rumours that  Daniel Ademinokan was having a sting with fair-skinned diva, Tonto Dikeh.
But, it seems it's no longer a rumour that the once blissful affair that tied Doris Simeon and her husband Daniel Ademinokan together has a couple has been dissolved.
The couple is said to be living apart now. Doris has relocated from their Magodo home to a new apartment in Akute with their son, while Daniel has relocated to Abuja to train both young and experienced directors and actors.   Daniel has also refuted the rumour that actress tonto dike caused their seperation. The couple has a son 'David Ademinokan' together .

I hope Tonto Dikeh is not the true cause of this divorce, I dont think she is that hot to make a man want to divorce his wife. Abi what's your view?

JONATHAN'S BUDGET SHOCKER: Ex-Militants Get More Money Than Health Sector

Militants
The National Assembly yesterday passed the 2012 Appropriation Act of N4,877,209,156,933 with a startling revelation that President Goodluck Jonathan allocated more money to the ex-Niger Delta Militants than the nation’s critical health sector.
A breakdown of the budget shows that the Presidential Amnesty Programme for ex-militants has a recurrent expenditure of N66,176,411,902 while the entire health sector was allocated N60,920,219,702.
The staggering allocation to the ex-militants is separate from the huge amount also allocated to the Niger Delta Development Commission, NDDC, which is to gulp N48,673,424,630. In other words, the ex-militants and NDDC, which ought to create a conducive atmosphere to discourage militancy in the Niger Delta, were cumulatively allocated N114 billion.
The controversial fuel subsidy has the lion share of N888 billion followed by Works which is to gulp N244 billion.
Education, which is another critical sector of the economy, received only N66 billion, while Power was allocated N75 billion.
Transport is to gulp N89 billion and Water Resources N75 billion.
The 2012 budget, which was increased by about N228.3 billion after it was amended by the National Assembly, is predicated on a crude oil benchmark of $72 per barrel and a production output of 2.48 million barrels per day, as well as an exchange rate of N155 to the U.S. dollar.

Chris Brown Remixes "Really Made Sense" - Rihanna

Rihanna and Chris Brown
After Chris Brown, 22, violently assaulted then-girlfriend Rihanna in February 2009; are these two really back???
Also, her Pastor warned her "Steer clear of Chris Brown, come back to Church Rihanna" (Click Here to Read This Article)
Rihanna is ready to explain herself.
The world was shocked in February when the singer, 24, tapped abusive ex-boyfriend (and current secret lover) Chris Brown to sing on a sexually explicit remix of her song "Birthday Cake" -- and she, in turn, crooned on a remix of his own song "Turn Up the Music."
Rihanna addressed concerns over the collaboration recently.
"I reached out to him about doing 'Birthday Cake' because [he was] the only person that really made sense to do the record -- just as a musician. Despite everything else, that was gonna be the person." She said.

The pair have been secretly hooking up for a year despite his ongoing relationship with girlfriend Karrueche Tran.
In turn, she agreed to guest on his own remix. "It was a tradeoff," she said. "We did two records -- one for my fans, one for his fans. That way, our fans could come together. There shouldn't be a divide. It's music and it's innocent."
"Once bitten twice shy", Rihanna going back to her Ex...hum!!!, my esteemed readers is Rihanna's explanation sufficient???

1999 Constitution: N’Assembly seeks dismissal of Soyinka’s suit

Prof. Wole Soyinka
National Assembly has filed an objection to a suit by Nobel Laureate, Prof. Wole Soyinka, and Fred Agbeyegbe, seeking a Federal High Court, Lagos to declare that the amended 1999 Constitution is not an act of the people.
The Clerk of the National Assembly, in a written address dated March 15, 2012, filed by Mr. Friday Akoko, urges the presiding judge, Justice James Tsoho, to strike out the suit on the grounds of a lack of jurisdiction.
The plaintiffs had instituted the suit in 2009 seeking the production of a constitution that is  “a true reflection of the peoples’ opinion” emanating from “a proper referendum”.
They maintain that the constitution is “patently and inherently defective” because it allegedly does not reflect the opinion of the people of Nigeria.
They are therefore asking the court to order that the draft constitution prepared by the Peoples’ National Conference in August 2006 and the recommendations of the National Political Reform Conference of 2006 be subjected to “a proper referendum” of Nigerians within 18 months.
In the alternative, they asked the court to order that the 1999 Constitution be subjected to such referendum in order to seek the opinion of the people of Nigeria.
Among the five respondents in the suit, only the Clerk of the National Assembly was represented by a counsel at Thursday’s  proceedings, and had so far, filed an address challenging the court’s jurisdiction to hear the suit.
Other defendants in the suit are the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria; the Attorney-General of the Federation; the President of the Senate; and the Speaker of the House of Representatives.
Akoko maintained that the plaintiffs ought to have filed the suit in Abuja Judicial Division of the court, “where the 1999 Constitution was promulgated and  all the defendants reside and carry on their business”.
He contended that the plaintiffs had demonstrated a misconception “as to the proper forum” to commence the action by filing the suit at the Lagos Division of the court.
According to him, such development has robbed the court of its jurisdiction to entertain the suit.
Counsel for Soyinka and Agbeyegbe, Mrs. Folashade Bankole, had also in her written address, insisted that the Federal High Court has only one jurisdiction.
She faulted the argument canvassed by Akoko, saying that could not be a basis for dismissing her suit.
Tsoho adjourned hearing in the issue of jurisdiction to June 6, 2012.

JOS BOMBING: ‘I recognised my wife by her ring’

If 50-year-old Rosaline had not waited after the mass, perhaps she would have lived to tell the story.
But that few minutes she stayed after the service was when some suicide bombers chose to carry out the barbaric act that killed some worshipers and injured others.
Her husband, Mr. Sunday Pam, and a father of five, said that his wife waited behind to distribute invitation letters for a meeting slated for the next day.
Pam, who hails from Du in Jos South Local Government Area, recounted the ordeal he went through on March 11. he said he was in the church with whole members of his family when the blast went off.
He said, “We had just come out of the 8.30 mass, which all of us attended. Actually, I was not with my wife because I was behind the church holding a meeting with some members when we heard the blast. The ball of fire was the first thing we saw and then dust covered everywhere.
“I did not know the whereabouts of my wife and children. I immediately went to search for them. I saw my children, but they did not know where their mother was. I called her cell-phone, it rang but there was no response. I called it repeatedly, yet, nobody picked it. One of my friends was also looking for his wife and together we combed the whole church.
“After some minutes, I was told that my friend had seen his wife where she was lying dead and beside her was another corpse already covered. As I removed the cloth, behold it was that of my wife.

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome quotes Bible verses to support why masturbation is not a sin

Chris Oyakhilome
He once said it, people reacted like hell was let loose. He brings it back to clear the air, hoping the hell will go back shut. Don't hesitate to say your church mind.
Pastor Chris Oyakhilome, explains more on the topic of masturbation.
He clearly pointed out on how important a christain must understand the concept of sin otherwise one will keep asking if this and that is a sin. Pastor Chris talked about how sin starts from the heart. "the more concious one is about sin, the more ones continue getting accused by the devil and as a result keep been in bondage of that particular sin" (Pst Chris ..the concept of sin).

Top Actor caught having sex with an upcoming Actress in a car

It was a thing of shame and embarrassment as this top Akwa Ibom born actor and producer was caught on Valentine’s Day getting it down with an upcoming actress inside an abandoned car outside a hotel in the Uyo city center.

We gathered from a source on the spot that the married actor who is one of the big boys when it comes to movies in the South-South is a married man with three kids and those who saw him were really shocked that he could not even have the decency to get a room in the hotel to carry out his activities but preferred to have a quick one with the young girl in an abandoned car.

But another source who was at the hotel hinted us that the actor who is known for his philandering ways, actually had another babe in the hotel where a Valentine show was on and when the young actress came calling,he had to take her out to the abandoned car to satisfy his libido...

The duo, we gathered, was caught by the security man who quickly called the manager of the hotel to see what he saw.

The melee attracted other patrons of the hotel who were amazed that a star some of them adored and looked up to was actually the one misbehaving.

The suspected LASU cultists
The Lagos State Police Command Special Anti-Robbery Squad, SARS, has arrested eleven cult members who claimed to be students of the Lagos State University, LASU.
They were nabbed at Ijanikin, a suburb of Lagos along Lagos/Badagry Expressway, Lagos State, Southwest Nigeria.
A police source told P.M.NEWS that two members of Eiye Confraternity had hired a commercial motorcyclist (okada rider) to take them to Ijanikin where they shot a rival cultist, a member of Aiye Confraternity.
The okada rider, after the shooting, contacted SARS operatives who arrested the suspect’s accomplice identified as Wasiu.

Reuters: Nigeria opens indirect talks with Boko Haram

Nigeria’s government has in the last week held its first indirect peace talks with Islamist sect Boko Haram, meeting mediators to discuss a possible ceasefire, political and diplomatic sources told Reuters on Thursday.
The P.M.News had reported that the group had given conditions for the discussions, some of which are the release from detention of its members and concrete guarantee that the members would not be harassed after peace talks.
Reuters said two persons close to Boko Haram have been carrying messages back and forth between the sect’s self-proclaimed leader Abubakar Shekau and government officials, the sources, who asked not to be named, said.
It was not clear whether any mediators met with President Goodluck Jonathan himself. A presidency spokesman said he could not immediately comment.
Boko Haram has said it wants to impose sharia, or Islamic, law across a country split equally between Christians and Muslims. The group has killed hundreds this year in bomb and gun attacks, mostly in the majority Muslim north of Africa’s top oil producer.
“BH (Boko Haram) has mentioned a conditional ceasefire but it wants all its members released from prison. The government sees this as unacceptable but is willing to release foot soldiers,” a traditional leader and civil rights activist involved in the talks told Reuters, asking not to be named.

“It is the first time a ceasefire has been mentioned, so it is a massive positive, but given the lack of trust a resolution is still a way off,” he added.
Jonathan’s national security adviser, General Owoye Andrew Azazi, told Reuters in January that Nigeria was considering making contact with moderate members of the shadowy Boko Haram via “back channels”.

MAJOR TURN OFFS IN WOMEN: Unshaved Armpits, Bad Breath and more... | Stella Damasus

Stella Damasus
Here is the continuation of the first part "BATTLE OF THE SEXES" (If you missed the Part 1 CLICK HERE )
The Part 2 of "BATTLE OF SEXES" Seat back, take a cup of coffee and enjoy reading...
I was so glad when I got so many messages and feedback from the last article Battle Of The Sexes. So, by popular demand, I am doing a conclusion to that.
One of the first things we need to know is that men are not the way they are because they just want to drive women crazy. They have been trained from childhood to behave in a certain way. This makes it difficult for them to be as intimate as you want them to be.
Parents of newborn male babies tend to describe their sons as firmer, larger more alert and stronger, etc.
Parents of new born female babies describe their daughters as adorable, softer, smaller, prettier and more delicate.
They tend to place more demands on little boys , expecting them to be more responsible and take more risks.
Boys are pushed to be independent earlier and faster.
Parents offer less comfort to boys than girls when the child is frightened or injured, and they give boys greater freedom at an earlier age.
Boys are encouraged to control their emotions and are told that it is not manly to feel strong emotions. Not only are those emotions considered “weak” such as fear or sadness, but even passion and intense love.
Boys are taught that only a narrow range of emotions can be expressed to show their masculine strength and authority; like being competitive, aggressive, angry, defensive, and feelings associated with being in control. As they grow older, sexual feelings are added to the list.
Weakness, fear, vulnerability, tenderness, compassion and sensuality are allowed for only girls and women; so that a boy who exhibits such traits is likely to be made fun of and called a “whimp”.
We are in constant battle between the way men have been taught and the way women want or ask them to be; for example, men are taught to be defensive and suspicious, hide their emotions, be strong and unconquerable, stay in control but women want them to be trusting and open, show their emotions, express their vulnerability, master the inner world and express intense romance.

So you see that most of the major problems are as a result of women telling men that the characteristics they have worked hard to cultivate all their lives are the very ones that drive women crazy and turn them off. And the characteristics they really want to see the men develop are the ones they have been taught to see as “weak” and “feminine”.
When you think about this, it becomes easier for women to understand why men seem to resist anything that will make them feel they are not in control.
I can assure you that most times men actually want to open up, to learn to feel deeply and express those feelings to the women they love. But to them the process is a bit difficult because of the way most of them grew up.
1. The men in your life need all of the compassion, patience and support you can find in your heart, to help them open theirs.

2. Part of improving your relationship with a man, whether it’s your husband, boss, father or brother, etc, it is not just understanding his behaviour but also taking an honest look at your own behaviour as well.

3. Believe it or not, you may be bringing out the worst in the man you love by the way you behave around them.

INFERNO: 11 Vehicles, including petrol tankers burnt

No fewer than 11 vehicles, including petrol tankers went up in flames Tuesday night near the Nigeria National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) Mega Station on Ojoo road, in Ibadan, the Oyo State capital. But there were no casualties.
Many residents living around Ojoo, Idi-Ape, Akobo and environs were woken up by deafening sounds of multiple explosions and thick balls of fire.
An eyewitness account said as of 3.15am, residents still ran helter-skelter to escape the raging inferno, while many watched in awe.The fire was said to have started at about 2.20am in front of the NNPC Mega station located close to General Gas Junction on Iwo-Ojoo road.
Also burnt were some electricity poles and kiosks. Few metres away from the mega station were two filling stations - Sycams and Keemrat which, many feared would have claimed a lot of casualties if they had caught fire.
Scores of sympathisers gathered at the scene yesterday discussing the incident, while some roadside traders, whose kiosks were burnt counted their losses.
Also, men of the Oyo State fire service deployed five vehicles to put off the fire. The NNPC Sales Manager in charge of Oyo and Osun Depot, Mr. Adewale, and Station Manager, Victor, disclosed that a lorry carrying coal from Ojoo collided with an NNPC truck. They alleged that the NNPC truck, laden with petrol and parking out of the highway, collided with coal-laden lorry that was crossing in the process of dodging the lorry that was trying to make a U-turn.
Adewale said: “The petrol spilled on the road and caught fire. That was how the fire spread to others. It also caught up with a lorry that was fully loaded with diesel.”Adewale alleged that men of the fire service did not come until 3am.
He, however, praised the fire officers for putting up their best when they eventually came.

Independence Day Bombing: Court Denies Okah Bail Again

Charles Okah
Okah who was initially standing trial alongside Obi Nwabueze, Edmund Ebuware and Tiemkemfa Francis, (but Francis died on 2 March in prison custody,) for the second time running, a Federal High Court sitting in Abuja on Wednesday declined a fresh application for bail brought before it by suspected Independence Day twin bomb blast masterminds, Charles Okah and two others.

The court also stayed proceedings in the matter to allow the Court of Appeal reach a decision on an application filed by Okah and Nwabueze challenging the jurisdiction of the court.

At recent proceedings, counsel to Okah and Nwabueze, Mr. Oghenovo Otemu orally applied for bail of his clients after he informed the court that the inhuman conditions the accused persons are subjected to in Kuje prisons has resulted to their ill-health.
He told the court that the accused persons are still being locked up in their cells for 24 hours and are not allowed to exercise or go to worship centres.
He prayed to the court to grant the accused persons bail on liberal terms so as to enable them attend to their health issues.
Opposing the application, prosecuting counsel Alex Iziyon, a senior advocate of Nigeria, asked the court to be hesitant in exercising its discretion in granting the application.
He said statements made by Mr. Otemu regarding the accused persons’ living conditions in prison, is malicious, unverified and highly speculative.
He further argued that no material has been placed before the court to support the allegations that the SSS instructed prison officials to torture the accused persons.
Denying the application for bail, Justice Gabriel Kolawole said he had already refused a written application for bail, as such they cannot come back orally.

Rev. King’s Supporters, Attack TB Joshua

T B Joshua

Rev King
The police in Ikotun division Lagos prevented a religious crisis after seven devotees of condemned Rev. King allegedly went to the home of Prophet Temitope Balogun Joshua (TB Joshua) of Synagogue Church of All Nations at Egbe-Ikotun and verbally attacked him
The seven devotees suspected to be members of the of Christian Praying Assembly, CPA, founded by the condemned Rev. King, were arrested and charged to Ejigbo Magistrates’ court Lagos State Southwest Nigeria, for allegedly attacking T. B. Joshua.

The suspects include Nwachukwu, 50, Peace, 28, Peter, 20, Obuwase, Ngozi, 40, Chinyere, 45, and Eze, 35.
The suspects and others now at large were alleged to have pretended that they were preaching the gospel and stood in front of Prophet Joshua’s home and casting aspersion on the man of God.
Apart from Joshua, other men of God including Bishop David Oyedepo of Winners Chapel, Pastor Kumuyi of Deeper Life Bible Church and Pastor Enoch Adeboye of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, were not spared by the devotees who called them thieves and fraudsters and rained curses on them.
Their action created religious tension in the area and the residents denounced their preaching and called the police.
A team of policemen from Ikotun went there to disperse them and arrested the seven suspects while others fled.
It was not yet clear why they did that but we gathered that the group was not happy with the increasing popularity of some men of God including Joshua.
The were charged before the court on a two-count charge of felony and conduct likely to cause breach of public peace under sections 516 and 249 of the Criminal Code Cap 17, Vol. 2, Laws of Lagos State 2003.
They pleaded not guilty.
The presiding magistrate, Mrs. M. B. Folami granted them bail in the sum of N100,000 with two sureties in like sum. The matter was adjourned till 5 April 2012.
They defendants were ordered to be reporting to the court every day until their bail was perfected.

‘How Couple Tortured Domestic Servant To Death’

“When she discovered that Emmanuel was not flogging the deceased, she took a belt, tied him with a chain to the toilet bowl and beat him till he lost consciousness,” Jacob alleged.

A policeman, Inspector Kinanee Jacob, on Tuesday told an Ikeja High Court in Lagos how a 14-year old boy, Oliver Arakwe, was allegedly tortured to death by his employers, Elochukwu and Chiamaka Nnajiofor.
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that Jacob was testifying in the murder trial of Elochukwu (40) and Chiamaka (26) before Justice Lateefat Okunnu.
Jacob, who was being led in evidence by Ms. Olaide Eboda, Deputy Director, Directorate of Public Prosecution, said that the deceased was one of the three domestic servants of the Nnajiofors.
The witness said that Arakwe died on August 17, 2010 at the Eko General Hospital, Surulere, after he was allegedly tortured and beaten by Chiamaka for “misbehaving.”
He said: “The matter was transferred from Ago/Okota Police Station, Isolo to the Homicide Sect ion, State CID, Yaba.
“During our investigation, it was discovered that Chiamaka actually tortured the deceased.
“When we got to the crime scene, we discovered that he was kept in the toilet for two days.
“He was then brought out and asked to wash some clothes but he could not perform the task because he was very weak.”
According to him, this angered Chiamaka who then instructed another domestic-servant named Emmanuel, to flog him.
“When she discovered that Emmanuel was not flogging the deceased, she took a belt, tied him with a chain to the toilet bowl and beat him till he lost consciousness,” Jacob alleged.
Jacob said that she later rushed the boy to the hospital, where she allegedly told the doctor that she “just saw the boy on the road.”
The witness said that Arakwe died before the doctor could start treatment, and his body was transferred to the mortuary of the Lagos State University Teaching Hospital (LASUTH), Ikeja.
