COLLAPSED BUILDING: Two killed in Anambra

Not less than two (2) bodies of victims who were mainly workers, working on the decking of the second floor of the building, were recovered from the debris of a building which collapsed in Awka, the Anambra State capital, on Thursday.
The survivors had varying degrees of injuries from the rubble of the two-storey building which was under construction at the time of its collapse.
Hum! It is high time government began to look into the building designs and capacity of projects. I suspect the materials used are substandard and must have led to the collapse of the building.
Men of the  Construction Company, officials of the Anambra State Emergency Management Agency,  Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps, and Nigerian Red Cross Society aided the rescue operation.
May their souls rest in peace.
