Timi Dakolo (born in Ghana on January 20, 1981) is a Nigerian singer. Although he was born in Ghana, Dakolo did not claim dual citizenship and holds a Nigerian passport.
He is the winner of the first season of Idols West Africa.
iNaija Learnt he is getting married to his girlfriend, Busola, an ex-Zenith bank staff, in Ilorin
today. Although the two already have a son, Alex, who was born in September 2010.
It was gathered that Timi wanted to keep his wedding away from the press, but then he
announced it on Twitter.
