“I
was given the bag by a woman to deliver to someone in Abuja, and on
getting to Abuja I discovered that the bag contained the explosive
materials and that is why I brought it to Radio House to pass a message
to the ‘woman’ so that she could ‘come and claim it’”. – The Bomber
claims.
This middle aged man simply identified as John has just been arrested at
the Radio House which was meant host three federal ministers who were
scheduled to present their achievements in office in preparation for the
annual May 29th "Democracy Day. Security operatives
say the man was arrested with grenades
and other ammunition as he tried to gain entrance into the Radio House.
The programme, which commenced on April 24, was organised to allow Ministers in the federal cabinet to highlight their
achievements over the last one year.
