From a recent interview, she was asked to say something
about herself and she simply said "I'm a very innovative and creative
person. I am usually unusual in my style and personality. I'm multi-talented
and always wanting to learn something new. I'm a good cook, dancer and a sport
freak."
She also said, "Music and Dance is not Just what I Love..., it's who I
Am..."
Due to her interest in entertaining, she decided to participate
in Nigerian Idol Season III auditioning where she got a "YES" vote
that qualified her to contest on the Show.
During one of her recent performance, Debie Rise, dressed in a two-tone jumpsuit, was nicknamed ‘Mix
Master Dee’ by Judge Jeffery Daniels after
her rendition of ‘Umbrella’ with a liberal sprinkling of “Naija” flavour and a
concluding with an impressive split.
