Katy Perry and Beyonce |
Sequel to the rumored feud between Katy Perry and Beyonce, Glad that Katy cleared up this one.
Katy Perry insists she didn't slam Beyonce or her music in a recent interview.
"F*ck all y'all . . . dat thinks I dissed anyone, puhlez," Perry, 27 Tweeted
on Wednesday. "Get a life, cuz it's not mine! #hoodratcominout. If ya
ears are filled with wax it's time to get a cleanse boo. Anywayz . . .
(steps off box)."
The confusion arose after the "Part of Me" singer referenced "Beautiful Liar," Beyonce's 2007 duet with Shakira when speaking of a not-yet-recorded collaboration with her BFF Rihanna.
"I want my Rihanna duet" to be like that Eurythmics and Aretha Franklin
song 'Sisters Are Doin' It for Themselves,'" she told BBC Radio of a
classic female empowerment tune from 1985. "Not 'Beautiful Liar.'"
She added: "How disappointed would you be if [our] song came out and it's no good?"
