The Bauchi State Command of the Nigerian
Security and Civil Defence Corps has paraded five persons for allegedly
defiling two primary school girls. The state Public Relations Officer,
Mr.
Paul Odimba, gave the names of the suspects as Muhammad Danboloko,
Abubakar Jaro, Danjuma Chindo, Muhammad Garba and Bala Ibrahim. The PRO,
said the suspects were aged between 45 and 55, while the victims were
12 and 13 years old respectively.
Odimba said that the victims were pupils
of a UBE primary school in Alkaleri Local Government Area of the state,
adding that two of the five suspects were security men in the school.
The NSCDC spokesman stressed that the case was reported to the command
by the Parents/Teachers Association of the school.
He affirmed that the report led to the arrest of the suspects.
He pointed out that the suspects had since owned up to committing the crime more than thrice with the victims.
Odimba said they also confessed to luring the girls with N50. He said
the two arrested security guards usually invited their friends to the
school to have the carnal knowledge of the girls.
